Dear Parent April 22, 2010
On behalf of the ITL family, I extend my heartiest and sincere good whishes to all ITLeens who have appeared for class X boards this year, and their parents. May all ITLeens come out with flying colours and touch the zenith of glory and success in their career. To make fruitful and optimum use of this ‘transition phase’ from the secondary to the senior secondary level we have planned and started a ‘bridge course’ to be implemented in April & May’10. This ‘bridge course’ has been planned to help the child to cope up with the colossal gap prevailing in the difficulty level in secondary and senior secondary course. In this connection I would like to draw the attention of the students and the parents to the fact that while appearing for any competitive entrance exam the comprehensive knowledge of the combined syllabus of classes XI and XII is taken into consideration. Hence from ‘day one’ students should grab every opportunity that they encounter to find his / her niche in life. Students should remember that ‘Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long you miss them’. Hence, students should overcome the misconception that class XI is a time to sail about in a happy – go – lucky manner and indulge in laxity and complacency. The students should realize that the bridge classes are truly beneficial for them and should be attended with regularity and sincerely. The parents should ensure that their wards attend the school regularly so that by the time the result announces the students have attained considerable grip and command over the subjects.Soliciting for your whole hearted cooperation in our endeavour.
Yours truly,
Principal

Dear Parent
“Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What’s a sundial in the shade?”
– Benjamin Franklin
Truly so, talent or potential without proper exposure or implementation is indeed a sorry plight. Your children are precious assets to you as well as to us, All of them are unique in their own way. We have a mammoth role to play in the unravelling of the child’s talent and potential. We need to act as the pivotal force to steer the child’s ability in the right direction which may be camouflaged in a daze of uncertainty and ambivalence.
We take the privilege to bring to your notice that the Education Department of the Government of India undertakes some positive initiatives to promote the learning of Maths and Science, to recognize and acclaim those who have admirable mastery and skill in these subjects.
Each year to select meritorious students from all over India, the NCERT conducts NTSE for class VIII (Date for NTSE Exam is 2010 – 14.11.10) and JSTS for class IX (Date for JSTS Exam 2010-11 is 30.1.2011).
Both NTSE and JSTS are prestigious competitions and the proud achievers or scholarship holders in these examinations will have glorious feather added to their curriculum vitae.
For equipping and empowering our students with proper and adequate guidance to attempt these tests with courage and confidence, we propose to start Empowerment Classes by experts in this field.
We welcome parents for an interaction programme on Saturday April 17th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Hall with the resource person.
With a little care, support and encouragement from you, your child’s persona will blossom in all its fragrance and colour and cascade in the path of life in all dignity and grace. Your gracious presence and whole hearted cooperation is solicited in this endeavour.

Dear Parent December 7, 2009
Learning English is facilitated not only by classroom teaching but in number of other ways in the form of Interhouse & Interschool Competitions in the school. Introducing communication skills & personality development in the hobby club is another step towards it. To further ensure the proficiency & fluency in English, the school has started regular phonetics, vocabulary, voice & accent, correct pronunciation & communicatino skills classes conducted by an expert for the students. English speaking inside & outside the classrooms during the school working hours has been made compulsory. It is strongly recommended that you too at your end should set aside a fixed time ensuring that your ward compulsorily speaks only in English during that time. This will surely help your ward in improving upon his / her written and spoken abilities. Let us join hands to see that this endeavour is fruitful.

Sub: Discipline-Prohibition of carrying mobiles / cellular phone / electronic gizmos &
gadgets to school by students
Dear Parent
Your kind attention is drawn to the ‘Almanac’ where in very clearly it has been notified, no student shall carry a mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets to the school.
In the past it has been noticed that inspite of such standing instruction, still some students have been found to be carrying these items with them. Till now, the school had been lenient by returning these gadgets after informing the concerned parents of such acts. Getting involved in such processes, the school is wasting its valuable quality time in meeting its main objectives. Such acts have been irritants & of nuisance value, causing distraction to everyone. This amounts to open & willful disobedience & misconduct by the students.
Not adhering to the above laid down rules has been viewed very seriously & the school has now decided that such errant students showing utter disregard to school discipline, rules & regulations on being found carrying such items as mentioned above, these gadgets will not only be confiscated henceforth but such students shall stand suspended too. With two such suspensions, the student concern will face disciplinary action for expulsion from the school.
