Community Outreach Program

The Social Service Club attempts to teach the simple mantra of Mother Teresa, “Do not wait for leaders: do it all, person to person.” The outstanding work of the students will surely help them in becoming altruistic and benevolent citizens of tomorrow.

Christmas celebrations with the underprivileged

The psychology students of ITL Public School along with class representatives of class Vth, VIIth, and IXth visited a Government run primary School in Dwarka to celebrate Christmas. As a part of this trip, they conducted a small assembly with the students using different means like music, quizzes and dances as a way to spread the Christmas spirit.

The students at the school truly enjoyed these performances and participated enthusiastically. In addition to this, they gave each student a goody bag comprising of chips, cakes and juices along with books and pencil boxes. They also donated over four hundred books to the school library and winter clothes for the students.

Following this, the students visited the Holy Family Orphanage where they had a vivacious discussion with the sisters about the working of the orphanage and the various challenges they face. The students keenly interacted with the children at the orphanage and sang Christmas carols with them. The school also donated clothes collected over a span of one week, to the children in the spirit of Christmas.

The visits were an extremely educative and learning experience for all students who inhibited the true purpose of Christmas by spreading joy and engaging in charity.

Scholarship Program for girls of Bharat Vihar - An ITL Initiative

ITL Public School has collaborated with Action India to help the residents of Bharat Vihar. ITL has taken an initiative to identify 15 bright and intellectually efficient girls from the community under the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Campaign incorporated by our Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. ITL is lending a helping hand to these girls as their parents are unable to financially support them because of their weak economic background. The ITL community thereby has provided these girls with academic and financial support by paying their tuition fees. They are sent to skilled and renowned institutions to enhance their knowledge and discover their talents. The ITL community has progressively fulfilled their needs and requirement to help them pursue their education. They have been provided with a platform to progress successively and express and nourish their potential through proper training and education.
